Hello to Goodbye and All That Follows

This week has been bittersweet: I received some positive feedback from a few awesome readers, which lifted my spirit after having to say goodbye to a dear, four-legged friend of mine.  Thank you very much for your wonderful comments.  My furry friend sat next to my desk as I wrote Born from Ashes, day and night, hour after hour, and he will be truly missed.  I snapped this picture while driving around one afternoon… what a great place to sit and think awhile.
